Alampur

Alampur is a temple-town situated in Jogulamba Gadwal district, in the state of Telangana, India. Alampur is the meeting point of the sacred rivers Tungabhadra and Krishna and is referred to as Dakshina Kashi (also known as Navabrahmeshwara Theertha) and the Western Gateway of Srisailam, the famous Shaivite (Shaivism) pilgrim Centre. The Sacredness of Alampur Temple is mentioned in the Skanda Purana. The principal deities at Alampur are Brahmeswara and Jogulamba. It is surrounded by the Nallamala hills. Alampur is situated on the left bank of the Tungabhadra River.

Basara

Basar or Basara is a census town in Nirmal district in the state of Telangana, India. Basara is popular in India because of its Saraswathi temple. Many pilgrims come to Gnana Saraswati Temple Basar to perform the “Akshara abhyasam” ceremony for the children before they start formal school education.
At 6 am, in the rays of the morning sun, the aarti starts at the temple after which the prasadam is given to the devotees. Special poojas and celebrations are held at the temple during Maha Shivaratri, beginning 15 days before (Vasantha Panchami) and continuing 3 days after the festival. Devi Navarathrulu is celebrated for ten days during Dasara. Devotees often go to the nearby mountain which has an Idol of Goddess Saraswati on the top of the rock.

Warangal

Recognized as one of the best heritage cities of India, Warangal is situated 145 km away from Hyderabad in Telangana state. Warangal attracts many tourists. Warangal Fort, spread over a radius of 19 km between Warangal and Hanamkonda is literally and metaphorically the biggest attraction of the city. The fort is most famous for its intricately carved arches and pillars and four large stone gateways. Natural beauty mixed  with magnificent human-made structures makes Warangal an attractive destination. The 13th century star shaped Shiva temple, Bhadrakali temple, the thousand pillared temple, Wildlife Sanctuaries at Pakhal and Eturnagaram and the Pakhal Lake are the other attractions of the city.

Bhadrachalam

Bhadrachalam is a census town in Bhadradri District of the Indian state of Telangana. It is an important Hindu pilgrimage town with an existence of the Bhadrachalam Temple of Lord Rama, situated on the banks of Godavari river.The majestic River Godavari is found winding with its vast stretch of sand all throughout the town and is considered to be very holy. It can also be the host to a number of activities that let the river be a completely enjoyable experience. Beside the Godavari River, the huge 17th-century Bhadrachalam (or Sita Ramachandraswamy) Temple complex is dedicated to Lord Rama and has many ornate carvings. Other nearby temples include Abhaya Anjaneya Temple, with large painted statues of Hindu gods and goddesses. Passenger boats travel the river to nearby towns.

Hyderabad

Hyderabad is the capital of southern India’s Telangana state. A major center for the technology industry, it’s home to many upscale restaurants and shops. Its historic sites include Golconda Fort, a former diamond-trading center that was once the Qutb Shahi dynastic capital. The city of smiles, of lights, of a thousand faces, endearingly called the Pearl City, Hyderabad offers a variety of tourist attractions ranging from Heritage monuments, Lakes and Parks, Gardens and Resorts, Museums to delectable cuisine and a delightful shopping experience. To the traveller, Hyderabad offers a fascinating panorama of the past, with a richly mixed cultural and historical tradition spanning 400 colorful years.

Kuntala Waterfall

Kuntala Waterfall is waterfall located in Kuntala, Adilabad district, Telangana. It is located on Kadem River in Neredigonda mandal. It is the highest waterfall in the state of Telangana with a height of 147 feet. To add adventure, you can enjoy trekking though big boulders to reach the footsteps of the waterfalls. The water gushes through rocks making its own path from a height of 200 feet and splits in to multiple streams. While there are many such scenic waterfalls, this one is just so amazing and very accessible.
